Spinal enzyme simulator - 1981 - Freelance commission, Nasco Plastics, Fort Atkinson, WI
Designed to introduce a new procedure using enzymes as a surgical tool. Enzymes are injected between two vertebrae while the back is in traction. The enzymes dissolve the damaged disc. A syringe filled with silicone is then injected into the hole and fills the area once occupied by the disc.
